I would like to remind people that I am a register Democrat. I have an open mind and I am willing to work with anyone to help build a bridge between us and our new President. I am just expressing my feelings as a low income American as I am scared for our future. As a low income American we are the one who clean your bathroom, pick your garbage up, and do the jobs most American would not do. Please do not treat us as third class citizen. Let us work together.
Just a reminder to all the people who live in public housing Donald Trump now lives in public housing as well. We in the low income communities for far too long have been the forgotten one. We are consider to be the working poor. We make too much money to be poor but not enough to be consider middle class. We do not qualified for any assistance and that’s ok because we like to work for what we get.
Sean Spicer the new White House press secretary gave a quick briefing last Saturday. Maybe I should call it a scolding at the media and I guess to every single one of us that re-tweeted the same pictures the media put out showing the difference in the crowd between Obama 2009 and Trump 2017.
I would like to tell Sean Spicer that Stevie Wonder could see the difference in the pictures. They say most bullies are insecure about themselves. So when Sean Spicer came out last Saturday and bullied the White House press core he showed his true colors. This man has no balls hanging between his legs and is just a follower.
Respect in life is earn not given. If this is the way the White House is going to do things we are in for a long four years. This new administration needs to know that “We The People” are not going to stand for anyone walking all over us. Sean Spicer needs to remember that he is the voice of the President. We do not work for the President he is supposed to work for us. On Monday Sean Spicer walked back his remarks from Saturday.
My biggest fear as a low income American, is that I keep hearing this new administration talking about making things better for the middle class citizen, but I do not hear them speak about us the forgotten low income working poor. I am scared that we are going to be left out of this Make America Great Again movement.
President Trump and his administration came in as lions. They have already ruffled some feathers. They are talking the talk and it looks like they are going to walk the walk. I do not want my civil rights as a minority to be violated and I do not want to be penalized for being poor. I think the world spoke loud last Saturday with all the protest around the world. From Paris to New York people marched in solidarity. We are not going to be bullied by no one including you Sean Spicer and this new administration.
