On Tuesday April 19th 2016 New York will hold it’s primary. I encourage all registered New Yorkers to go out and vote. Many people fought and lost their lives to give us the right to vote. Please do not let their life’s go in vain.
We get a chance to choose our nominee for President of the United States. It does not matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat. We get a chance to voice our opinion of who should represent each party. We are in the Capitol of the world. Our votes count and people should never leave it to the next person. We are always in the middle of things.
Some people like to complain and others just settle. I feel if you do not vote then you should not complain because you just left things in other hands. Excuses are easy but just remember that change in this world comes one person at a time. People who settle will suffer the consequences they let other people and society dictate the way they live their life. Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. Let us unite and make a difference.
People say that politicians are all corrupt and that might be so, but if people want change in Washington and local government they must get involved. I ask people to do their homework on each candidate. With technology the way it is today there is no excuse not to find out about each candidate. The internet allows each and every one of us to find out as much information as we need to make the right choice to represent us.
United we stand and divided we fall. Let us unite and make the right choice for all. It does not matter who becomes President of the United States we should unite behind the victor no matter what. We have free and democratic elections in our Country. Do not let the media and big business dictate the way you vote. Remember that whoever we choose must look out for our future and our children’s future.
No one is bigger or better than the next person. Each vote counts. No more excuses. Stand up for what you believe and unite with one another. A lot of people lost their lives so I could go out and vote. People in the South Bronx should not complain -we got a special visit from a potential Presidential Candidate last week. Bernie Sanders had a rally in the heart of the ghetto of the Bronx, New York. Today we have the battle for the South Bronx. We had Hillary Clinton ridding the subway, Ted Cruz getting heckled, and John Kasich speaking to people in a Deli in Arthur Ave. The Bronx is burning with potential Presidential Candidates looking for votes. My blog must be getting to this Candidates as they know the Bronx holds many votes they need.
I might not agree with what all the candidates have to say or what they stand for but I do like to listen to them. I will do my homework and vote for the person I feel is right to do the job. Our Founding Fathers made it possible for us all to have a vote on who should represent our Country as President. All I ask is that we all go out and vote. Take a stand on what you believe in and make a change.
